My wife and I had a discussion last night, the conversation went on for a long while. We talked about all kinds of different problems in society, from political to social to economic to psychological and yes religious as well.
We both had a lot of passion and backed up our points with scripture, we agreed on pretty much everything.
At the end of our talk I prayed for guidance and wisdom, I was wondering if there was something I missed?
I heard one word.
“Love.”
Our discussion was missing Love.
We were missing Love.
The most important part of our faith.
You can’t fight hate with more hate, anger with anger, sadness with sadness. Only one thing can fight the negativity in the world, it’s Love.
Despite all the problems in the world, Love is the answer.
Love is never wrong.
Love is never evil.
Love is the way.
Because God is Love.
Have a Love filled week,
Chris

Love is the key. What is often forgotten about live is it houses within it all the other emotion. One cannot have love without fear, anger, sadness, and happiness. Even hate is part of its continuum. As an emotion it is as oppositely charges as love is. It arises in direct proportion to those aspects of life that we do love. Many believe hate is the opposite of love, but it is not. Indifference is, and that is the most dangerous road to traverse. A wise priest on e told me that God is love, and try living in a world without love. I read this great post and this is what it brought up for me. Thank you.
